Hey, Minecraft fans and DIY enthusiasts!
Today, I'll show you how to create your own ceiling light in Minecraft style. It's a great weekend project, and the result will thrill any Minecraft lover!
Step 1: Download Files
Start by downloading the special Minecraft designs for your ceiling light. You find it already.
Step 2: Gather Materials
Next, you'll need a lamp socket and a suitable light bulb. You can easily order these from Amazon. Here are the links for the lamp socket and the bulb I used:
Step 3: Print and Cut Out Images
Now, print the downloaded images/ PDF (190x190cm) files four times, unscaled, and cut them out. These images will later adorn the lampshade of your Minecraft light.
Step 4: Print the Lampshade
For the lampshade, you'll need white material, which you can also find on Amazon. Set your 3D printer to the recommended settings:
- 0.28 mm Layer
- 0% Infill
- No Support
- No Raft/Brim
- Fuzzy skin outside
Here's the link to the 3D printer filament I used: eSUN PLA White Matte 1.75mm
Step 5: Assembly
After the lampshade is printed, glue the prepared images on the inside. Finally, mount the lamp socket and bulb. And voilà, your own Minecraft ceiling light is ready!
